A
low water bridge is a bridge built to allow water to flow over it
during high water. Without sides to stop the flow, along with being
built purposely low to the water level, the bridge allows high water to
flow over it to prevent bridge damage. This one is in Randolph Co. on
Low bridge road. The road is projected to be paved and a new bridge
built within the next two years.
